Judith Elder-McCartney

Judith Elder-McCartney, D.A.A., was born and raised on a farm near Hensall.  She has always loved the country life, and now she lives on a farm near Seaforth with her husband where she raises alpacas.  She and her husband have four grown children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her formal education following high school was three years studying Interior Design, and four years of printmaking and fine art.

Since 1983, Judith has studied under many artists, and she is still doing so in person and online.  The theme, “all things bright and beautiful” describes her life and her family.  Judith’s art piece that she has presented shows the beautiful lines of the female figure. ‘M’Lady’s Finery” is constructed of a painted surface with painted and manipulated tyvek and added beading. She hopes everyone enjoys it!
