Throughout her life Vreni has always been interested in “creating” things, and she has dabbled in many media, including photography. She is actually glad if something does not interest her, so she doesn’t have to try it! Her hobbies always gave her a balance between her office job as a legal secretary back in Zurich, Switzerland and now her duties as a farmer's wife and mother!
Vreni especially loves landscape photography. Back home they have the mountains, and here they have the lakes and beautiful colours, especially in the fall. She also loves to play around with macro photography during the winter months when the weather is not always suitable to being outside! Macro photography involves photographing small subjects and making them larger than life. Many of her pictures show her humorous side as she finds we often take life way too seriously!
Vreni chose this photograph because she loves the vibrant fall colours that remind her of walking in a forest on a peaceful, fall day. Her goal is for people to feel good when they see her photographs. She also hopes to start a conversation and hopefully make their day at least a little bit “Bright and Beautiful”!
